Clint Trickett is a former American football player who played quarterback for the West Virginia Mountaineers and Florida State Seminoles. He was born on March 19, 1991, in Tallahassee, Florida. Trickett began his college football career at Florida State University in 2010 and later transferred to West Virginia University in 2013.
During his time at West Virginia, Trickett set multiple school records and was named the team's starting quarterback. He had a successful season in 2014, passing for over 3,000 yards and 18 touchdowns. Trickett's college football career was cut short due to multiple concussions, and he ultimately decided to retire from the sport in 2014.
Following his retirement from football, Trickett pursued a career in coaching and currently serves as the tight ends coach at Florida Atlantic University. He comes from a football family, as his father, Rick Trickett, is a long-time college football coach.
